In March 2020, Ryan and his wife, Josie, arrived in the Chirripo Valley for what was meant to be a short stay. When global travel came to a sudden halt, their visit became a new beginning. As they prepared to welcome their first child, they realized the mountains were calling them to stay and build a life rooted in community and nature.

During the pandemic, Ryan sold his California home and invested fully in Costa Rican real estate. After exploring dozens of properties, he discovered that success here is built on authenticity and connection. With the support of local neighbors, he found the perfect land to call home.
